How a rental works

Four steps, start to finish

Call with your dates

Tell us when you want the machine and where the job is. You will get a rate and an answer on availability the same day.

Pick it up or have it delivered

Hook onto it at our yard on 396 Gold Creek Rd, or we haul it to you anywhere inside 150 miles. Delivery rates apply, based on distance, to cover fuel.

Get the walkthrough

Every rental starts with a walkthrough of the controls, the saw, the splitter, and the conveyor, so you are running wood and not guessing.

04

Cut, split, and hand it back

Feed whole logs in one end and take cut, split firewood off the conveyor. Return it at the end of your rental, or we come get it.

Rental terms

Daily, weekly,
or monthly

A rental day is 8 machine hours. Most homeowners take the machine for a day or two and finish a winter's worth of wood; loggers and firewood sellers usually take it by the week or the month. Rates depend on how long you keep it and how far it travels, so pricing is a phone call, not a form.

What comes with the rental

What you bring

  • Logs from 5" to 22" in diameter
  • Clean wood — dirt, rocks, and old fence wire are hard on a saw chain
  • A 3/4-ton truck if you are towing it yourself
  • Somewhere for the wood to land: a trailer, a tandem axle dump truck, a dump trailer, or just a pile
  • A helper if you have one — one person can run it, two people move a lot more wood
